Description : Hougang sport hall is one of the most popular sports halls in Singapore. Situated at 93 Hougang Avenue 4 (538832), Hougang in Singapore is most strategically constructed only at distance of a few minutes on foot, to the nearest MRT. It was absorbed by the SSC on the 1st of September in 1992 and was officially and publicly inaugurated on the 1st of September in 1993. Hougang is open from 7 o'clock in the morning upto10 o'clock at night and has got arrangement facilities for organizing sport events like badminton tournaments and table tennis championships.
Hougang in Singapore has got a total of 12 badminton courts which are adjustable into volleyball or basketball courts, but has got no sitting arrangement for the viewers. Numerous sport events of national and international acclaim like several badminton tournaments, basketball and volleyball games along with other popular sport events are organized at Hougang and players from all parts of Singapore and other places of Southeast Asian islands and countries visit Hougang for participating in these sport events.
