There’re many ways to visit country-blocked website or watch “Not available in your country” YouTube video. Out of so many methods, free online proxy server provide you the fastest, simplest and yet free solution, to bypass any Youtube firewall virtually.

The pop-out message “The uploader has not made this video available in your country” of Youtube, has induced so much frustration to the Youtube fans like me. The next millisecond after I see the message, I will look for a proxy server and then sit down to enjoy my popcorn.

These are the steps to set up your IE to use proxy server:

Internet Explorer 6.0

  1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.
  2. Under Proxy server, click to select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
  3. In the Address box, type the IP address of the proxy server.
  4. In the Port box, type the port number that is used by the proxy server for client connections (by default, 8080).
  5. You can click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box if you do not want the proxy server computer to be used when you connect to a computer on the local network (this may speed up performance).
  6. Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.
  7. Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.

FireFox

  1. Open the Firefox browser. Close any Internet tabs that may be open.
  2. Click on the Tools tab on the top of the page. Select the Options link. An Options window will pop up.
  3. Select the Advanced button and then Network tab. Under Connections click Settings. A Connection Settings window will appear.
  4. Choose the Manual Proxy Configuration Select a proxy server address and port number from a free proxy server website. Proxy and Proxy 4 Free (see Resources) offer an extensive list of servers. Enter the address and port number into the HTTP Proxy box. For example, 1.2.3.4 port 80. You can choose a different proxy address for the other protocol options. Click the box under the HTML Proxy to use that address for all Firefox protocols.
  5. Click the OK button twice when you finish. Reboot your Firefox browser.
Below is the list of Proxy servers available (updated on 2012 May 22nd), please login to see details:
